Battlefield 4 Will Allow for Cross Generation Transfers on Multiplayer Progression and Premium Membership

Just like Call of Duty: Ghosts, EA announced that Battlefield 4 would allows for Cross Generation transfers when it comes to your multiplayer and the Battlefield 4 Premium Membership.

Specifically, all multiplayer stats, unlocks, rank, awards, and assignments will be transferable from PS3 to PS4 or Xbox 360 to Xbox One absolutely free. For that Premium Membership, the same holds true when it comes to transferring, with Premium for Battlefield 4 giving you access to themed expansion packs, new weekly content, and personalization.

No price has been named for Premium, and it looks like you’ll need an Origin account to do the transfer for this, as well as the stats.

During EA’s gamescom press conference on August 20th at 10:00AM ET, you can expect the first look at Premium for Battlefield 4. A new map and multiplayer will also be detailed.

Battlefield 4 launches on current generation systems October 29th in North America and November 1st in Europe, with a next generation release scheduled for console launch.
