With the PS4’s release at the end of the year, it can be hard to decide whether to pick up a PS3 version of a major game, or wait a little longer and grab the better looking PS4 version. Now, the decision is easy.
During Sony’s jam-packed gamescom press conference, Andrew House revealed that if you buy the PS3 version of Call of Duty Ghosts, Watch Dogs, Assassin’s Creed: Black Flag or Battlefield 4, you will be able to get the digital version of the PS4 version for a “small fee” for a “limited time”. He also said that more titles will use the up-cross-buy feature, and that they would be announced at a later date.
