It definitely isn’t the gamescom news I was hoping for, but Square Enix has brought out a brand new trailer for the Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD Remaster on PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita, which shows how the game has evolved from SD to HD when it comes to battles and music:
Sadly, Square Enix didn’t date the HD Remaster this week, and Lee Williams, Community Manager at Square Enix, couldn’t give a status update on how they plan to release the PlayStation Vita version of the game:
I know it’s not what you want to hear, but unfortunately I have no information on this as of yet. It’s something I’m working on, and as soon as I have any updates I’ll make sure to post them on here.
So, looks like we’ll just have to keep waiting for an official release date and word on how PlayStation Vita owners can play the game once it does come out.
