BioShock Infinite: Clash In The Clouds Trophy Guide

Welcome to PlayStation LifeStyle’s trophy guide for BioShock Infinite: Clash in the Clouds. This is the first piece of downloadable content for BioShock Infinite, and it comes with a total of 10 new trophies, 7 bronze and 3 silver. Clash in the Clouds is essentially all wave survival. You take up the role as Booker DeWitt once again with your partner Elizabeth to beat 15 waves of enemies in 4 different arenas. Between each wave, the game will tell you what enemies you will face next and allow you to pick your weapons accordingly. It is also very important to note that if you select “Restart at Checkpoint” the game resets your progress to the last completed arena, meaning that if you beat arena one, get halfway through two and select restart at checkpoint, you will have to beat all the waves of two again. All of the arenas are accessed by pressing Square on the four portraits that you will see next to a Motorized Patriot.

Spoiler Alert: There are no spoilers as there are no story aspects to this DLC.

Friendly Skies – Bronze

– Defeated all waves in The OPS Zeal.

You will earn this trophy after defeating all 15 waves in The OPS Zeal. This is the first arena that is  available when you start a new game.

Duke or Dimwit? – Bronze

– Defeated all waves in Duke and Dimwit Theater.

You will earn this trophy after defeating all 15 waves in Duke and Dimwit. It costs $200 to unlock. After you kill all enemies in wave 15, you have to destroy the engine in the Zeppelin in order to finish the wave.

Rooftop Ruffian – Bronze

– Defeated all waves in Raven’s Dome.

You will earn this trophy after defeating all 15 waves in Raven’s Dome. It costs $500 to unlock.

Hand of the Prophet – Silver

– Defeated all waves in Emporia Arcade.

You will earn this trophy after defeating all 15 waves in Emporia Arcade. This costs $1,000 to unlock.

Museum Curator – Bronze

– In CitC, unlocked all Gallery items.

You will find the Gallery by going down the hallway to your left and through the double doors in the Colombian Archaeological Society. To get this trophy you will have to purchase everything in the Gallery which will cost a total of $24,400.

Sergeant-at-Arms – Bronze

– In CitC, got a kill with each weapon and vigor (except Bucking Bronco)

There are 14 weapons and 7 Vigors that you will need to get a kill with. You will have to buy Murder of Crows, Shock Jockey, Return to Sender and Charge from the vending machine between each wave.

Vigors

  • Devil’s Kiss
  • Shock Jockey
  • Murder of Crows
  • Undertow
  • Return to Sender
  • Possession

Weapons

  • Hand Cannon
  • Pistol
  • Carbine
  • Heater
  • Repeater
  • Sniper Rifle
  • Hail Fire
  • RPG
  • Volley Gun
  • Machine Gun
  • Shot Gun
  • Burstgun
  • Sky-Hook (Melee)
  • Crank Gun (Picked up after killing a Motorized Patriot)

Rope-a-Dope – Bronze

– In CitC, knocked an enemy off the city with Undertow, then rescued him, then knocked him off again.

What you need to do here is find an enemy with full health, knock him over a railing with Undertow (press L1) so that he falls onto the ground below while still remaining on the level. After that, look over the ledge, aim at him and hold L1 to bring him back up to you. Once he is back up press L1 on more time to send him flying over the ledge again.

The Ol’ One-Two – Bronze

– In CitC, used all eight different vigor combos to deliver the killing blow on an enemy.

If you are having trouble getting “the killing blow” try weakening an enemy first with a few gun shots before attempting the Vigor combos.

  1. Shock Jockey + Undertow
  2. Possession + Shock Jockey
  3. Possession + Devil’s Kiss
  4. Bucking Bronco + Devil’s Kiss
  5. Bucking Bronco + Charge
  6. Devil’s Kiss + Charge
  7. Murder of Crows + Devil’s Kiss
  8. Murder of Crows + Shock Jockey

Missile Defense System – Silver

– In CitC, killed an enemy with splash damage by shooting a rocket out of the air.

In various waves you will be up against RPG soldiers that will be shooting rockets at you. You need to shoot the rocket that is shot at you and have the explosion kill a nearby enemy. There are a couple ways you can go about getting a splash damage kill. The enemies will sometimes stand very close to each other so you can get close and shoot the rockets in mid air around a few enemies. Another way is to weaken an RPG soldier and just try to shoot his rocket immediately as he shoots it. The Carbine works very well for this.

Blue Ribbon Champ – Silver

– In CitC, completed all Blue Ribbon Challenges.

This is probably the hardest trophy of the CitC DLC. During each wave you will be given a special objective or challenge to complete. After each wave the game will let you know what enemies you are facing next and what the Blue Ribbon Challenge will be. Complete every Blue Ribbon Challenge and the trophy is yours.
