Shuhei Yoshida on PS4 Gameplay Capture: We’re “Considering Every Possibility”

The other day, Inside Gaming Daily reported that “a reliable source” told them you wouldn’t be able to capture video and audio through HDMI on PlayStation 4, though there’s always the Share button on the DualShock 4 that allows you to capture video and audio and post it to various outlets. Unfortunately, YouTube doesn’t seem like it will be one of them come PS4 launch (despite Mark Cerny’s previous comments on Jimmy Fallon), which upset quite a few people.

Shuhei Yoshida weighed in on this issue via his Twitter account (which was retweeted by PlayStation) by saying:

We’d like to keep gamers happy and are considering every possibility regarding PS4’s gameplay capture. We’ll update you as soon as ready.

We’ll be sure to keep you updated when more details are released.

Also, this is not legal.
