We gave a brief mention to it in The Catch-Up, and Sony has now confirmed that they have teamed up with Taco Bell in the United States to give away PS4s in a promotion they call ‘Play the Future First’.
Starting at 12:01AM EST on September 26th and ending 11:59PM EST on November 10th, Taco Bell will be giving away a PS4 every 15 minutes (the official rules state there will be 4,416 prizes valued at over $2.25 million) with their specially marked $5 Buck Boxes – which include a Cheesy Gordita Crunch, Crunchy Taco, Burrito Supreme and medium fountain drink. Each box will have a special code that you can then text in to win a PS4, or if you don’t have a mobile phone, you can enter the code on this website.
If you do win the PS4, you’ll be given the 500GB system, a copy of Knack, and a 1 year PlayStation Plus membership, with everything expected to be shipped on or around November 12th.
