With DualShock 4 controllers now on sale in Canada and the United States (call your local retailer), it seemed as though you’d have to pretend you’re playing a PS4 game while fondling the DS4 prior to November 15th.
Well, confirming previous reports, Shuhei Yoshida said on Twitter that the DualShock 4 will work with your PlayStation 3 after he remarked, “Try playing BioShock Infinite with it, swapping R1/R2 ;).”
With the DualShock 4 on PS3 though, only the “buttons and sticks” will work (not the TouchPad, Share button, etc) and it has to be done via USB.
After hearing this news, are you going to go out and buy a DualShock 4 today, then use it with some PS3 games? Let us know in the comments below.
