It was just a short time ago where we learned about the DriveClub delay from PS4 launch to early 2014, with the DriveClub Facebook page offering up this status update on where the game is now:
At this stage the game is running at 1080p@30fps, which at face value really defies how fluid it feels and how stunning it looks. We’ll be recording another direct feed video for you soon, to show you an update on the outstanding 1080p graphics and racing, because the authentic and dynamic lighting system has come a long way since you saw it last. 🙂
When it comes to narrowing down the DriveClub release date to more than ‘early 2014’ they said, “There are many things that need to be confirmed before we can be more specific.”
As well, a commenter asked if the Watch Dogs delay triggered their own statement regarding the delay, to which they replied, “No, the timing of this statement is based on Evolution and SCE Worldwide Studios reaching a decision on the best course of action to take to ensure that we provide you with an exciting racing game.”
