  • As I presumed in our PlayStation Plus post today, it “should be later this week” for when we hear about the November 2013 PlayStation Plus free games in North America. [Source]
  • One month ahead of release the Wii and Wii U versions of Young Justice: Legacy have been cancelled, but the PS3 version is still on track. [Source]
  • Due to “unforeseen issues”, the Dark Souls 2 beta in North and South America was cancelled over the weekend and has been “delayed indefinitely”. They “will be rescheduling the test so that everyone who downloaded the client can participate for the full duration.” We’ll let you know when they announce a new start date. [Source]
  • Get $30 trade credit for Batman: Arkham Origins at GameStop within 30 days of release. [Source]
  • Sega says, “On October 29th guts will be sp___ed.” [Twitter]
  • Renegade Kid is aiming for a Christmas release on PS3 and PS Vita with Mutant Mudds Deluxe, complete with Cross Buy and Cross Save. [Twitter]
  • Air Conflicts: Vietnam releases for the PS3 and Xbox 360 on November 26th in North America. [Twitter]
  • Gamefly has these used games for cheap: Fuse for $9.99, BioShock Infinite for $14.99 and Injustice: Gods Among Us for $19.99. [Via]
  • In a recent interview, Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII Gameplay Director Yuji Abe said, “Obviously, Square Enix bought out Eidos a number of years ago, and now we have direct access to American development teams. That’s certainly been discussed within the company, the possibility of say, Eidos or maybe someone else to look after or maybe take on the Final Fantasy series. And we obviously haven’t decided anything concrete, but if we find the right team of developers, the right people who really wanted to do it, and we had the right game, then yes, certainly we’d think about it.” Not sure how I’d feel if they did put Eidos in charge… [Source]
  • There was quite the hoopla earlier this year about PC dev kits being used at demo events for the next-gen consoles. The PlayStation Italy Twitter account posted photographic proof recently that actual PS4 systems were being used at a recent event (rough translation: To dispel a myth: inside the cabinets there are PS4 systems, not PC) [Via, Twitter]:
