With the biggest game of the year out today, the Daily Reaction duo share their thoughts on the latest Call of Duty the only way they know how.
Seb:
“I’m tired, Tommy. I can’t do this again. We’re just going through the motions, it’s all the same,” sighed Adrian. “What’s the point?”
They looked at the bodies strewn around them, littering the battlefield. As their bodies faded, Adrian shuddered: “I can’t believe I got used to it, used to the death, the destruction and the devastation. I no longer care. Nothing matters.”
Tommy bent down, closing the eyes of a disappearing soldier. He turned his head, “don’t worry, this time it’ll be different.”
“I don’t know, they say that every time. But we end up following the same paths each time, and life just seems to be the same year in, year out. I don’t want this to be my life, I don’t want this endless churn. I dreamed of more…”
“Listen, it’s a new setting, new landscape –“
“- Yeah, we’ve heard that all before, but it never changes”.
“Stop worrying, this time will be different, honest.” Tommy began rooting around in a bunker, moving out of sight.
Adrian frowned angrily: “stop buying into the lies, give me one actual change”.
Tommy came out holding it aloft, “there’s the dog”.
Adrian cried.
