While it may be the last console of this generation to reach the 80 million sold threshold (Wii was at 100 million in June, Xbox 360 reached 80 million in September), Sony has reported that the PlayStation 3 is now over 80 million units sold-in worldwide as of November 2nd, 2013.
Looking at PS3 software, there are 4,332 titles worldwide as of September 30th (excluding digital games), with over 300 titles expected to release between November 1st and December 31st around the world. As for the PSN, there are over 150 million registered accounts, with over 222,000 digital content on the PlayStation Store, and 72,000 of that being game content.
