Best Buy has essentially sold out of all of its PlayStation 4 inventory in North America, the company has announced.
Talking to Reuters, Best Buy’s CEO Hubert Joly revealed that the company had “pretty much run out” of PS4 units, but thankfully added:
We will get new inventory next week. It’s a great launch, there is no doubt about that.
With a million PS4s sold in the first 24 hours, and 2.3 million people signed up for GameStop’s First to Know list, it’s clear that the console will be in hot demand all holiday – but luckily it looks like Sony are well prepared.
