Kicking off the first of many upcoming patches for Killzone: Mercenary, Guerrilla Games has released 1.03, which takes up 358MB and includes the following patch notes:
- Reduced patch footprint (This was previously reported to save 800MB if you downloaded the previous patches).
- Adds “quit” functionality to multiplayer end-game summary screens.
- Start-up valor screen now presented on daily basis.
Unless something changes, 1.03 is the last patch of 2013 for Mercenary, but January 2013 will include improved matching, an auto team re-balancing feature, and a reduction of join-game connection problems. Later in 2014, there will be two free maps, offline botzone for Mercenary and Guerrilla Warfare modes, and PS Vita TV support.
Will you be playing Killzone: Mercenary today? Or will you just be downloading the patch to free up some space on your memory card? Let us know in the comments below.
