Releasing tomorrow, December 12th, on Xbox Live for $1.99, Call of Duty: Ghosts will be getting The Wolf DLC for $1.99, which turns the Guard Dog killstreak into a wolf. In a post on his blog, Activision’s Community Manager One of Swords revealed that “other platforms” will get the DLC following release tomorrow for Xbox.
Over on Instagram, Call of Duty posted this video for the new DLC:
Continuing what he put on his blog, One of Swords revealed how it won’t come to PS3 on December 18th (he’ll let us know when there’s a date), while also talking about how people thought the price would be $3, instead of $2:
The price is $1.99, not $3 as I’d seen reported as gospel truth and summarily bashed, but this is not the first time I’ve seen Call of Duty fans convince themselves that they would have to pay more money than Activision was actually asking. If you really feel the DLC should be $3, please send the extra buck to the Call of Duty Endowment.
In addition to The Wolf DLC, Call of Duty: Ghosts is getting a free Festive Personalization Pack by December 18th on all platforms.
