Things are going to get pretty nasty in 2014 as Tecmo Koei has announced Dynasty Warriors 8: Xtreme Legends for release on PS3, with Dynasty Warriors 8: Xtreme Legends Complete Edition coming to PS4 and PS Vita. Both titles are coming to North America and Europe, with a Spring 2014 release date planned.
Because Dynasty Warriors 8 has already been released on PS3, but not on PS4 and PS Vita, Tecmo Koei will be releasing Dynasty Warriors 8: Xtreme Legends on PS3 and Dynasty Warriors 8: Xtreme Legends Complete Edition (which includes Dynasty Warriors 8 and Dynasty Warriors 8: Xtreme Legends) on PS4 and PS Vita. If you wish to buy the game on PS4 or PS Vita, it will be available both at retail and as a digital download (PS3 release details weren’t given).
Tecmo Koei Europe took the time to answer a couple questions today, revealing how Samurai Warriors 4 isn’t on their Q1 2014 releases list, while also saying they’ll “take this into notice” when someone asked if there were any plans to release Dynasty Tactics 2 as a PS2 Classic.
