After sending Minecraft PS3‘s patch 1.02 off for testing last Thursday, developer 4J Studios has confirmed it is now available for download.
The Scottish developer responsible for porting the game to PS3 (and working on porting it to Xbox One, PS4 and PS Vita) tweeted:
Patch 1.02 for #MinecraftPS3 is rolling out now in North America. It fixes chat, audio and some other issues.
If you’re on the fence about picking the game up, remember that cross platform play between the PS3 and PS4 is unlikely, so you may wish to consider waiting for the PS4 version – the release date of which will be announced “early next year”.
