4J Studios to Fix “Nasty” Minecraft: PS3 Edition Issues Before Working on PS4/PS Vita/Xbox One Versions

It was easy to guess Minecraft: PS3 Edition becoming a success, and with over 500,000 people on the leaderboards as of December 27th, it’s accomplished just that.

Being such a big game though, a number of issues have popped up since launch, with developer 4J Studios already releasing a couple of patches to fix a variety of problems, including chat and audio. With people still reporting corrupt saves, corrupt worlds, and more, 4J said, “We’re now back at work – looks like we have some nasty PS3 issues to fix.” Once patch 1.03 for the PS3 Edition is completed and released, we’ll let you know.

After they complete that new patch, 4J added, “Then on to TU14 and other platforms.” It remains to be seen if Title Update 14 and the PS4, PS Vita, and Xbox One versions will be worked on at the same time, but we at least know not to expect either of them until those PS3 bugs are addressed.

If any, what kinds of bugs have you experienced with Minecraft: PS3 Edition? Let us know in the comments below.
