It may have a ways to go before it reaches the 3 million sold tally of Heavy Rain, but Quantic Dream Co-CEO Guillaume de Fondaumiere confirmed that Beyond: Two Souls sold through over 1 million copies in 2013. With it selling through, this means copies actually sold to consumers, rather than those just bought by retailers.
To celebrate the million mark, Quantic Dream offered up this image on their website, which represents common words users used to describe the game on the internet:
For a little more insight, de Fondaumiere revealed how Beyond: Two Souls sold 70,088 in France during 2013, according to GfK. That number is actually better than Heavy Rain performed in its first 12 weeks after release.
