Last year we brought you news of a new wresting title being developed by Serious-Parody, 5 Star Wrestling, that was due to be released in the summer of 2013. But, as news of the upcoming title had sparked interest throughout the web, the developer behind it decided to give the title an extra bit of shine.
CEO of Serious-Parody, Dan Hinkle had this to say to PlayStation LifeStyle:
When we saw the amount of great feedback our ‘little’ indie game was getting, we knew we were potentially on to something that the wrestling fans could really get behind. At that point, we decided to hold off on the release in order to add some much needed polish to just about every aspect of the game.
On top of that, he also made sure to give us one more update:
I just wanted to touch base and let you know that 5 Star Wrestling (PS3) is almost complete!
Looking at the new screenshots, it is easy to see that the game is coming along well and has only improved with the extra development time. So, make sure to stay tuned to PSLS as we bring you all breaking news about this upcoming PS3 title over the next few months.
