Even with the MLB 2K series not coming back in 2014, it turns out MLB 14: The Show on PS3, PS Vita, and PS4 won’t be the only baseball game in town this Spring, as MLBAM announced today that R.B.I Baseball 14 will represent the first title from the brand in almost twenty years.
No details about how the game will play, what it will look, how much it will cost, and whether or not it will be a retail or download (or both) title were revealed, but we do know it’s being developed for “multi-platform distribution across current and next generation consoles and smartphones and tablets.”
When Polygon reached out for more info, they were told by MLB Advanced Media that “we do not have any additional details as part of the initial announcement.”
It looks like more information will be revealed on the official website and Twitter account in the future.
