After just two-and-a-half months since it came out on the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 3, Compulsion Games revealed today that Contrast has passed 1 million downloads on the PlayStation Store. Although they didn’t specifically mention it in the press release, it’s safe to assume the majority of downloads came from the game being free to PlayStation Plus members on PS4 at launch.
Guillaume Provost, Founder and Creative Director at Compulsion Games, talked about the milestone:
We feel rewarded and ecstatic that so many PlayStation fans have embraced our world throughout the Holiday season. It has given us the wonderful opportunity to engage with the community; evolving and improving the game as a result of their feedback. We’re overwhelmed with the fan support and look forward to sharing Contrast with a whole new audience.
If you want to try out Contrast, the game is on sale in North America until January 31st and Europe until February 5th at up to 50% off.
