Along with some fixes and tweaks in the Battlefield 4 patch yesterday, it was “mainly designed to prepare the game for the upcoming release of the expansion pack Battlefield 4: Second Assault,” and DICE would announce the release date “later.”
That announcement may happen fairly soon, with the five new Second Assault trophies now listed on PlayStation Trophies (via VG247):
Bronze
- Falling Down – Kill an enemy with a ceiling collapse in Operation Metro
- Dirty Job – Find the hidden tunnel in Caspian Border
- Torched – Ignite a brush fire using the repair tool in Operation Metro or Caspian Border
Silver
- Risky Business – Kill an enemy flag carrier while carrying their flag in CTF
- Blind Bomber – In a round, get 5 kills with air vehicles in Gulf of Oman
Second Assault originally launched on Xbox in late November as a timed exclusive, but over two months later, PlayStation has still yet to see it, so this particular timed exclusivity deal is much longer than the 1 month exclusivity Xbox has seen on Call of Duty DLC.
