PlayStation LifeStyle PlayList: February 1st & 2nd, 2014 – Super Edition

All day Saturday, most of Sunday, between each play, during the halftime show, throughout the post game interviews (unless Sherman makes a crazy play to win the game), and all night Sunday are the perfect times for you to sneak in some gaming time during this Super Bowl weekend.

That said, here’s what everyone is playing this weekend:

Cameron Teague (@Cameron_PSLS)

With the ridiculous amount of PS4 titles available to play, I don’t think I will have much time to do anything outside of gaming this weekend. /sarcasm

Probably a little bit of Ghosts, Zen Pinball 2, and a lot of Hulu Plus. I tell you what, without Hulu, my PS4 would be really lonely and unused.

Chandler Wood (@FinchStrife)

I had an Outlast review code land on my desk, so I’m going to be turning off all the lights, cranking up the surround sound, and finding out if this upcoming PS Plus game is worth the space on your PS4 hard drive. When I’ve peed myself enough times, I’ll take a break by grinding kills in Mass Effect 3 for the last trophy I need to obtain Platinum #99.

Heath Hindman (@RPGLand)

By fan request within the comments of the Lightning Returns import review, I’ve move on to Final Fantasy X and X-2. It’s lovely so far; I’m especially liking the advanced Sphere Grid that North America never got. I tinkered with both Vita and PS3 versions at TGS, but I’m not suuuuper super into graphic upgrades usually, so I chose portability over a slight visual edge. I love having FFX available to play at a cafe, on a train, on breaks, or virutally anywhere. Speaking of Final Fantasy, go get Bravely Default if you like RPGs and have a 3DS. I finished that recently, and I’m a better man for having done so.

Jason Dunning (@Jasonad21)

Because Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag took up the last couple of weeks for me (it cemented itself as my #3 game of 2013), I’ll be going back and finishing my replay of God of War 3. Other than that I’ll probably put some time into my newly purchased copies of Final Fantasy III and Final Fantasy IV, all while resisting the urge to spend even more money and buy Final Fantasy V (and wishing FFI/FFII for PSP were on the PlayStation Store).

Louis Edwards (@ftwrthtx)

This being Super Bowl weekend that can only mean one thing: My annual Super Bowl Bash! Who wants to come eat some BBQ and watch the big game on the big screen?

Russell Ritchey (@RussellCRitchey)

Maybe something on the Vita? Maybe something on the PSP? While I own Final Fantasy III on the DS, the PSP version is mighty tempting due to the ability to embiggen the game on the embiggened screen with my embiggening cable. Also some Demon’s or Dark Souls after heavy drinking so I can feel like I am playing Dark Souls II through the magical miasma of alcohol and forgetfulness. Remember, drinking leads to the Darkwraith covenant; the Darkwraith covenant leads to ganking other players; and ganked players lead to drinking.

Sebastian Moss – Harro  (@SebMoss)

I need to meet some friends, and then I’m bringing them back for some good ol’ PlayStationing. None of them have PS4s, so they’ll be let loose on my collection, and then we’ll play FIFA until the sun rises.

What are you playing this weekend? Are you rooting for the Broncos or Seahawks? Let us know in the comments below.
