Getting rid of any fears you may have had that Thief may miss its release date of February 25th in North America and February 28th in Europe, Square Enix and Eidos Montreal (Deus Ex: Human Revolution) have confirmed the game has gone gold and development is complete.
Producer Stephane Roy had this to say about the occasion:
It’s a wrap, Thief is gold. It’s nearly time for the fans to fall in love with Thief all over again, and time for newcomers to finally see what all the fuss is about. Thief is one of the founding-fathers of the stealth genre; we’re proud to have worked on such a well-loved series and proud to say; Garrett, the Master Thief is back.
