Unlike the recent PS4 firmware update that brought along some nice new additions in the form of Pulse Elite headset support and more, the PS3’s new firmware update 4.55, out today, doesn’t seem to do much.
According to the official update page on the PlayStation website, we just have the standard improvement of system stability in this new firmware, as you can see in this one note:
- System stability during use of PlayStation 3 format software has been improved.
If you’re looking to update your PS3 through a computer, you’ll need a USB stick with at least 200MB free, and those in North America can get 4.55 here, with the UK update here.
