It will probably be late next week before we find out the confirmed March 2014 PlayStation Plus games in Europe, but GamePointsNow (who correctly reported every free game in the February lineup) has seemingly seen all five games that will be available.
Here’s the five games reportedly coming to Europe’s Instant Game Collection, though of course, you’ll have to treat this as a rumor until it’s officially confirmed by Sony:
- Dead Nation (PS4)
- Tomb Raider (PS3)
- Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons (PS3)
- Smart As… (PS Vita)
- Pixeljunk Monsters Ultimate HD (PS Vita)
Looking at the list, Brothers and Smart As... aren’t surprising as they’re free in North America right now, while Tomb Raider will have been out for one year come March, so it isn’t too much of a stretch to think that it will be free. The biggest surprise in the list is Dead Nation on PS4, considering how it hasn’t even been announced yet! It’s possible Housemarque (or another developer) is porting the game to PS4 though, so we’ll just have to wait and see if it’s true.
For what we actually know about the March 2014 PS+ free games, Sony has said that “none of the games” in the February 2014 PlayStation Store sale will be included. A quick look at that list of games shows none of the five above-mentioned games are featured. Provided the rumor is true, what do you think of March 2014 PS+ free games in Europe?
