The Catch-Up: February 14th, 2014 – Kiefer Sutherland Says Snake Will be Edgier, Angrier About his History

Happy Left Behind release day!

General News

  • Speaking with GameReactor, Nordic Community Coordinator for PlayStation Casper Leise Andersson said of PlayStation Plus for the PS4, “We continue to build on the service and make it continuously better, and of course the games should match the offer, so eventually we’ll get AAA titles as well.” Considering how Europe and North America have shared PS+ free games on PS4 so far, this means we should expect AAA games in the Instant Game Collection some day for both regions. • In a recent interview, Kiefer Sutherland (the voice of Snake in Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes) said that his Snake will be “a little edgier, and a little more angry about his history.” Sutherland added, “There’s a secret that is actually really cool,” but failed to mention what it was. • Sticking with Ground Zeroes, more members of the media got to play the game recently, with one person saying, “Finished GZ for the first time in about 90 minutes. Total game completion? 9%. I think that tells you all you need to know.” Another added, “After completing the main mission and a side mission in 4 hours the game says I’m at 10% completion. Sounds good to me.” So, it looks like the reports of being able to beat Ground Zeroes in under 2 hours are true, but finding and doing everything the game has to offer will take much longer. [Via]
