Kiefer Sutherland Confirms Work on Mortal Kombat

You’ll be getting your fair share of Kiefer Sutherland early this year with Pompeii (which didn’t do so well at the box office), 24: Live Another Day (it starts in May on Fox), and the March launch of Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes, but the actor has revealed that he worked on another project: Mortal Kombat.

Sutherland revealed this news to IGN in an interview about Metal Gear Solid where he said, “I did Mortal Kombat, and that’s such a huge game, but it’s so not like [MGSV].” Comparing his Mortal Kombat work to Metal Gear Solid V, Sutherland said he finished it “pretty quickly.”

There wasn’t any more information revealed by Sutherland about this new Mortal Kombat, so we’ll just have to wait for more details.

What do you think the new Mortal Kombat game should be called? Do you think it will be a PS4/Xbox One only project? Do you think Snake will be in the new Mortal Kombat, or is Kiefer playing a new character? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below.
