Killzone: Shadow Fall Free Multiplayer Week Begins on March 3rd, Doesn’t Require PlayStation Plus

For anyone who has yet to play Killzone: Shadow Fall and would like to check out the multiplayer, Guerrilla Games has announced an open Free Multiplayer Access Week that’s set to begin at 5PM PT/8PM ET on March 3rd, with the event then ending on March 11th. PS4 owners in North/South America and Europe will be eligible to participate, and PlayStation Plus isn’t required to play.

The reason they’re opening up Killzone: Shadow Fall’s multiplayer next week is due to the release of some new, free maps. As an added bonus, there will be special Warzones where you can play just those new maps, and compete on global leaderboards for Capture and Team Deathmatch game modes.

To play Killzone: Shadow Fall during the Free Multiplayer Access Week, you’ll need to download the Killzone: Shadow Fall client from the PlayStation Store (out now in Europe, coming on the 3rd in North/South America), with Guerrilla Games asking you to “please prioritize multiplayer via PlayGo to ensure you have the multiplayer files ready to play.” The servers will then go live on the night of the 3rd.
