With all the talk of graphics and 1080p visuals surrounding inFamous: Second Son before it launches on Friday this week, Audio Director Brad Meyer didn’t want the graphics designers to get all the attention. So, this new video was released today all about the audio in Second Son, with Meyer revealing that there’s almost 10 times the amount of memory at their disposal going from inFamous 2 to inFamous: Second Son:
If you happen to own the PlayStation Gold or Pulse Elite headsets, don’t forget that there will be a custom audio mix for use with inFamous: Second Son on Friday as well.

While we still don’t know the exact timing for those of us in North America (it could be 12AM PT, 12AM ET, or any time around there), PlayStation Europe Community Manager Chris Owen said, “For those asking, the digital version of inFamous: Second Son will launch at midnight on Friday morning on the Store.” If we hear a more definitive time for when Second Son will be added to the PlayStation Store in North America, we’ll let you know.
