Hotline Miami Coming to the PS4, Complete With Cross Buy

Not content with just being on the PS3 and PS Vita, Devolver Digital announced to Destructoid at GDC that the first Hotline Miami would also be coming to the PlayStation 4. A firm release date wasn’t given, but Hotline Miami for PS4 will support Cross Buy, as Devolver’s Nigel Lowrie said:

We feel like if the users bought it on a PlayStation platform, they have the right to own it on Vita, on PS4, on PS3.

Of course, the irony in that statement is how Hotline Miami was offered through PlayStation Plus, so many users were able to get it for free on PS3 and PS Vita back in October. As for the sequel to Hotline Miami, Hotline Miami 2: Wrong Number, it’s slated to release for PS4 and PS Vita, with Lowrie saying about the game:

So far all [we’ve shown developer Dennaton] is doing is really more or less similar to Hotline Miami 1… What we’re gonna show at PAX East, and in a trailer before PAX East, is the new hotness, and really things are going to change up the game quite a bit.

With PAX East starting on April 11th, we should be getting that new Hotline Miami 2 trailer fairly soon. Are you excited for Hotline Miami on PS4? Let us know in the comments below. [Via 1, 2]
