Following releases of Magic: The Gathering – Duels of the Planeswalkers games on PS3 over the last few years, it looks like the series’ newest entry, Magic 2015, won’t be appearing on PlayStation at all. This news comes via a new report on IGN, where they list the systems it’s coming to as just Xbox One, Xbox 360, PC, iPad, Android, and Kindle.
The lack of PlayStation is highlighted at the end of this first teaser trailer for Magic 2015:
While neither the PS4 or PS3 seem to be getting Magic 2015, the PS3 may see a new Yu-Gi-Oh! game, as Jawad Ashraf of the European PlayStation Store Team said, “There may be something Yu-Gi-Oh! related soon (strong maybe!).” Seeing as how the Xbox 360 just received Yu-Gi-Oh! Millennium Duels on XBLA, Jawad may be referencing the fact that the PS3 is getting Millennium Duels soon (or he’s teasing that Decade Duels is coming to Europe). Whatever the case, we’ll let you know of any Yu-Gi-Oh on PlayStation announcements as they arrive.
