It was about 11 months ago when Freedom Wars for the PlayStation Vita was revealed for Japan, and now it’s been confirmed for a 2014 release in North America and Europe.
Described as an action-packed RPG, Freedom Wars is developed by Japan Studio, Shift, and Dimps, with the Western announcement trailer below:
Playing as a prisoner forced to fight for your freedom, Freedom Wars includes Ad-Hoc multiplayer for up to 4 players, 8 player online multiplayer where you fight civilian Abducters, customizable weapon load-outs, and a customizable main character.
As well, Sony announced that Oreshika: Tainted Bloodlines is coming to PlayStation Vitas in the West. No video or release date details were given, though we do know the game is an RPG in which you take charge of an ancient Japanese clan that have been cursed with a maximum lifespan of just 2 years. Your task is to lead the clan on their quest to lift the curse and enlist the help of gods inspired by Japanese mythology to make sure each new generation of the clan is more powerful than the last.
