Ever since The Last of Us Remastered was announced for PS4, many people have been asking if there would be some sort of upgrade program for people who own the PS3 version of the game.
While he doesn’t give a definitive answer, Naughty Dog Community Strategist Eric Monacelli did reveal on the PS Blog that it’s something they’re looking into right now:
We’re looking into the business model for all this and will post about this once we have input from all regions.
Once Naughty Dog says anything further about a possible upgrade for The Last of Us, we’ll let you know.
If you happened to miss the details on the Grounded Bundle DLC yesterday, Eric said, “[It will release] in the next few weeks. We’ll have a release date announced soon.” He also replied to someone asking why the Season Pass is disappearing on May 13th: “It’s been available for almost a year! We want our season pass holders to feel special.”
Also, Monacelli confirmed that the Grounded Mode will be included in the PS4 version of The Last of Us. This means that the PS4 version will have the Grounded Mode difficulty, Left Behind, the Abandoned Territories map pack, and the Reclaimed Territories map pack all bundled in.
