Although Telltale Games has made a point to say “we haven’t announced any plans for next gen, but everyone here at Telltale is pretty excited about the possibilities that PlayStation 4 offers,” it looks like they’ll be appearing on the new consoles very soon, as GameStop has listed The Walking Dead for PS4 (and Xbox One).
Just like on PS3 and PS Vita, GameStop’s listing shows that Telltale Games will be doing a retail release of The Walking Dead Season 1 + 400 Days DLC for PS4 (and Xbox One), officially calling it The Walking Dead Game of the Year Edition. If GameStop’s listing is accurate, then we can expect it to cost $29.99 and release on June 17th.
Since nothing’s confirmed, we’ll have to wait for official word from Telltale Games about The Walking Dead Season 1 + 400 Days DLC coming to the PS4 and Xbox One, so stay tuned.
Will you buy The Walking Dead on PS4, either through retail or the PlayStation Store? Do you hope Telltale gives us a way to import our PS3 saves to PS4? Let everyone know in the comments below.
