The Catch-Up: April 23rd, 2014 – PS4 & Xbox One Versions of Watch Dogs Are “Identical”

If you saw that SoulCalibur: Unbreakable Soul trailer and were confused why it exists, I’ve got good news: It’s a fake.

General News

  • According to Animation Director Colin Graham, the Xbox One version of Watch Dogs is “absolutely identical” to the PS4 version animation-wise, adding, “I can’t tell the difference when I go on the floor.” After saying that “the TVs make a bigger difference in terms of what you see on somebody’s machine,” Graham explained, “On the assets side where we work, they’re absolutely identical. It’s completely transparent to us. The only difference is the icon on the screen.” [Source]
  • From Friday, April 25th at 10AM PT until Monday, April 28th at 10AM PT, PS3 and PS4 owners of Call of Duty: Ghosts will be able to play through the Onslaught DLC for free. The next Ghosts DLC pack, Devastation, is out in May. [Source]

  • Kick-Ass 2, a PS3, Xbox 360, and PC game from Freedom Factory Studios and UIG Entertainment, will be released in May 2014.
