The running theme for the PlayStation Plus Instant Game Collection’s titles in May 2014 is ports, with the PS4 entry being a port of a PS3/PS Vita title, one of the PS Vita games being an upgraded port of a PS Mobile title, and the other PS Vita game being a port of a PS3 title (which was a port of an Xbox 360 title).
While we don’t yet know the games leaving the Instant Game Collection in May 2014, or when all the new titles will arrive (PS3 games usually go first, with Vita coming later in the month), it’s a safe bet that Mercenary Kings will be leaving on May 6th to make room for Stick it to the Man.
Here’s all the games entering the Instant Game Collection in May 2014:
- Stick it to the Man (PS4) – Not Cross Buy, available on May 6th
- Pro Evolution Soccer 2014 (PS3)
- Puppeteer (PS3)
- Skullgirls Encore (PS3)
- Surge Deluxe (PS Vita)
- LIMBO (PS Vita)
It’s possible the PS Vita version of LIMBO will be Cross Buy with the PS3 version, but PlayStation didn’t say anything about that in their announcement video or post, so we’ll just have to wait and see if it is or it isn’t:
