Yoshida: ‘Some of the Things That we are Preparing for E3 2014 are Very, Very Exciting’

With E3 2014 just 6 short weeks away, and EA and Ubisoft already having their press conferences confirmed for June 9th, the industry is starting to gear up for what will be another year of big game announcements, more info about previously revealed titles, and everyone getting disappointed at the lack of anything for The Last Guardian.

Making sure to clarify that nothing’s “confirmed yet,” the EU PS Blog’s Fred Dutton said of Sony’s E3 2014 press conference, “But you can expect timings to be broadly similar to last year. Might be another late night.” If Dutton’s comments are accurate, this means we should be getting Sony’s E3 2014 press conference on the night of Monday, June 9th – the day before E3 2014 starts. Last year, we had to wait until May 2nd before Sony announced the time of their E3 2013 press conference as June 10th at 6PM PST/9PM EST, so we may not have to wait much longer before finding out the exact date and time for this year’s.

Teasing what will surely be a fun-filled conference, Shuhei Yoshida told GameSpot, “Some of the things that we are preparing for E3 are very, very exciting.” As of right now, Shuhei said Sony is still prepping for what they will – and won’t – show during the conference.
