It seems another multiplatform game is better on the PlayStation 4 than its Xbox One counterpart once again. This time, it’s Diablo III’s turn.
According to the game’s Senior Producer Julia Humphreys, the Xbox One version of Diablo III will only run at 900p, while the PS4 version will be at native 1080p. Both new-gen versions will run at 60 frames-per-second, with Humphreys stating that they’re “prioritizing frame rate,” in regards to the resolution difference.
It seems the PS4 version of Blizzard’s hit RPG will indeed be the best version for consoles, as not only will it have the best resolution, but will even have content from Sony’s other franchises as a bonus.
Diablo III: Ultimate Evil Edition will hit the PS3, Xbox 360, PS4 and Xbox One this August 19.
