The Order: 1886 to Only Have One Ending, Confirms Ready at Dawn

Yesterday, we posted that Ready at Dawn defended the studio’s use of Quick-Time Events (QTEs) in The Order: 1886, and how it won’t go crazy with it.

While that might be good news, this following bit might disappoint some gamers. Speaking to GamingBolt, Ready at Dawn’s Marc Turndorf confirmed that there will only be one ending in The Order.

It’s a story driven linear experience. There are some branches here and there and different ways to do things, but we’re trying to tell one story with one compelling ending.

So, there you go, action-adventure fans. Don’t expect any branching paths that will lead to a different turnout for the title’s ending. While some people might not like the linearity, I’m perfectly fine with Ready at Dawn ending the game the way they intended. And it’s not like they can’t churn out a sequel to take the story in another direction, right?
