Someone by the name of “Amhai” has apparently been donating huge sums of money to his favorite Twitch streamers. Rumored to be an oil tycoon from Dubai, he has handed out up to $50,000 at a time. Holy moly!
Over the last year, Amhai’s donations have crossed the $100,000 mark. This year alone, he started by handing out small sums of up to $5,000 before increasing the amount. Among the lucky recipients are World of Warcraft arena world champion Isaac “Azael” Cummings-Bentley and his friend Chance “Sodapoppin” Morris.
Such is his generosity that he gives players a chance to prove themselves by giving them small sums of money first, and all while keeping his identity a secret. According to Cummings-Bentley, “I don’t think he really wants anything said about him. He is just a very, very wealthy individual.”
