Shuhei: PS4 2014 Line-Up Compares “Very Well” to Xbox One, Uncharted PS4 Remaster “A Good Candidate”

When you compare the PS4 and Xbox One exclusives against each other for the rest of 2014, the PS4 has DriveClub, The Last of Us Remastered, and LittleBigPlanet 3 (also expected to hit PS3), while the Xbox One has Project Spark, Sunset Overdrive, the Master Chief Collection, Disney Fantasia: Music Evolved, and Forza Horizon 2 (the latter two also coming to Xbox 360).

Despite the number advantage featured by Microsoft’s console, Sony Worldwide Studios President Shuhei Yoshida told Eurogamer that he thinks the PS4’s line-up compares “very well, very very well” to the Xbox One, with Yoshida highlighting Destiny and The Last of Us Remastered. Shuhei then brought up the Nielsen study, which said nearly 50% of PS4 owners didn’t own a PS3, so The Last of Us Remastered is “a great way to welcome those people back to PlayStation, saying this is what you missed.”

With The Last of Us getting the PS4 treatment, Shuhei was asked if there were other 1080p/60fps remasters being considered:

There are requests from some consumers for games that were released later in the generation, like Uncharted, which people might have missed. That would be a good candidate. We don’t want to flood the market with remade games either.

Would you like to see the Uncharted games get remastered for PS4? What other PS3 games would you want to see on PS4?
