Alien: Isolation Can be Finished Without Killing Anyone

In a rather unique (and nice) twist when it comes to games these days, Creative Assembly Lead Designer Gary Napper on Alien: Isolation has confirmed that players can go through the entire game without killing anyone.

Speaking to GamesTM, Napper revealed this fact and mentioned that since your character in the game is part of the Ripley family, who’s not really known to gun down their enemies, that will be the case with Isolation as well.

You can get through the entire game without killing someone. It’s something that was, not so much a challenge, but something I felt was what the character would do. We’re talking about a member of the Ripley family – they’re not like characters in games that gun down civilians because they’re in the way to get to the switch.

It’s not known whether this applies to the Alien on board the ship, though. From what we’ve played of it so far, the Alien is nigh invincible, so if it does indeed perish, it most likely will be connected to the story and something that can’t be avoided.

Make sure to check out the pre-order bonus that will reunite the old cast in their own mission.

Alien: Isolation will be out this October 7 for the PlayStation 3, PS4, Xbox 360, Xbox One and PC.
