The Last of Us: One Night Live Special Event Scheduled for Monday, July 28

Before The Last of Us Remastered comes to PlayStation 4 on July 29 in North America and July 30/31 in Europe, a special one-time-only performance will take place in Santa Monica on Monday, July 28 at 7PM PT/10PM ET.

Titled The Last of Us: One Night Live, this event will be staged at the Broad Stage in Santa Monica, and is described as follows by Geoff Keighley:

One Night Live will highlight the artistry behind The Last of Us with a live reading of select scenes by the principal actors, under the direction of Neil Druckmann from Naughty Dog. Scheduled to appear are Troy Baker, Ashley Johnson, Merle Dandridge, Hana Hayes, and Annie Wersching. In addition, Academy Award winning composer Gustavo Santaolalla will perform selections from his score. How this all fits together will remain a bit of a mystery until it happens, but trust me when I say it will be a very special evening.

Those in the Los Angeles area can register to receive free tickets by heading over here, while the rest of us can watch “select portions of the program” streamed through Twitch, YouTube, and the PlayStation Network’s Live Event Viewer. As you probably guessed, the performance will feature spoilers, so it’s best to avoid it if you’ve yet to beat The Last of Us.
