It’s been a very busy week of news for Disney Infinity: Marvel Super Heroes, with Disney announcing that a Guardians of the Galaxy Play Set will be available for the game. Including Star-Lord and Gamora in the Play Set Pack, and Rocket Raccoon, Drax, and Groot sold separately, this Play Set will have you defending Knowhere from Ronan the Accuser and his army of Sakaarans.
Next up, Disney announced that Disney Infinity: Marvel Super Heroes will release on September 23 in North America (no date for Europe yet) on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, Xbox One, Xbox 360, and PC (the Vita version is out in 2015). Anyone who pre-orders the game between now and September 22 at participating retailers will receive a Disney Infinity 2.0 Marvel figure (valued at $13.99).
Over on the PS Blog, Executive Producer John Vignocchi unveiled the PlayStation-exclusive Collector’s Edition, which includes the Disney Infinity: Marvel Super Heroes Starter Pack, the Avengers figures (Iron Man, Black Widow, Thor, Captain America, and Hawkeye), and an exclusive light-up stand:
