With 180 gaming stations, developer and publisher Square Enix will be giving Gamescom 2014 attendees a chance to play the games in its lineup. These include Lara Croft and the Temple of Osiris, Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn and Kingdom Hearts HD 2.5 ReMIX.
Square Enix is quite keen on promoting A Realm Reborn. Having recently offered free trials to console and PC gamers, it will set up multiple booths at the event, allowing 48 players (hall 9) to compete against the game’s bosses Leviathan, Ramuh and Gilgamesh. Not only that, but attendees will also witness A Real Reborn producer and director Naoki Yoshida competing directly against Curtain Call producer Ichiro Hazama in the game’s versus mode.
