Resident Evil HD Remastered Coming to Consoles and PC in 2015

Capcom is remastering the original Resident Evil game for last-gen and current-gen consoles alongside PC, it has been confirmed. The title was released in 1996 for the Sony PlayStation before being ported to other consoles. Screen shots that have been made available by the company show a remastered version of Nintendo GameCube’s 2002 release. 

Resident Evil will be available digitally in 2015, and will support 5:1 surround sound. Current-gen consoles and PC will get 1080p visuals while last-gen consoles will get 720p. Players will have the option of playing in the original 4:3 ratio or 16:9. In addition to all of this, the new version will have various control options, and a scrolling camera.
