gamescom 2014: Here’s 20-Minutes of the Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain Live-Stream Gameplay Demo

Earlier today, Hideo Kojima demoed Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain as part of his gamescom live-stream presentation. Now, if you weren’t around to see it live, well, you can watch the entire gameplay demo right now.

In the 20-minute video, it once again shows the same exact location as its E3 demo. However, this time, Snake goes through different routes, and uses different tactics to take down enemies. Early on, he even uses horse manure to take down a jeep with enemies in it — and no, I’m not joking!

Interesting to note that wildlife seems to be playing a larger role than expect in Metal Gear Solid’s fifth major franchise entry, with wolves seen in the background that can and will attack Snake when he comes too near.

Unfortunately, the release date for MGSV: The Phantom Pain wasn’t revealed.

Following the live demo, a brief Q&A with Hideo Kojima was conducted and he was asked about P.T.which you can read about right here.

What’s your take on The Phantom Pain so far? Can this be Kojima’s best Metal Gear game yet?
