The video above has been released by Bethesda Softworks on its YouTube channel, containing over an hour of The Evil Within gameplay on the PlayStation 4. Played by Vice President Pete Hines, the demo introduces combat and stealth alongside weapons such as a shotgun, revolver, and axe.
While the game doesn’t look as scary as the P.T. demo (Silent Hills), it’s likely to attract a larger audience due to that. Watch for yourself and let us know what you think of this video.
The Evil Within is scheduled for release on October 17. We’re told that the campaign will take 15-20 hours to beat.
