Ninja Theory recently revealed that it was planning to move forward with a game called Razer, but publishers weren’t receptive of it, resulting in the project being dropped. The developer has now shared full details of the canned game including screen shots and videos. You can watch one of the trailers below.
Razer Experience Trailer from NinjaTheory on Vimeo.
A description of the trailer reads:
This is a previs trailer to show how the published game might feel like. We always create trailers like this for our games and they are never intended to be shown to the public. They serve to get a feel for the gameplay, story and the way you might play it. They are always entirely produced in-house and this one features our own staff as actors. The trailer was created in Unreal Engine 4 and After Effects.
So what was Razer all about? It was an “an epic massively co-op sci-fi adventure” for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC. The game involved an alien creature enveloping the planet, and apparently, it would have taken thousands of players up to years to kill the beast by instigating guerrilla warfare.
